Wizz Air has introduced plans to switch its current flights from Doncaster Sheffield airport over to Leeds Bradford from the top of subsequent month.
The transfer follows the Peel Group’s affirmation that Doncaster Sheffield airport will shut from October 31, stating that “Regretfully, no tangible proposals have been obtained concerning the possession of the airport or which handle the elemental lack of economic viability”.
Wizz Air’s flights from Doncaster Sheffield to Gdansk, Katowice, Krakow, Warsaw, Wroclaw, Bucharest, and Cluj-Napoca will proceed to function till October 30, after which date they are going to be transferred over to Leeds Bradford.
Wizz stated that prospects with tickets to journey on the above routes after October 30 can be routinely rebooked onto flights working out of Leeds Bradford.
